Define IT !

Stereo:
Reproducer in which two microphones feed two or more loudspeakers to give a three-dimensional effect to the sound.Two photographs taken from slightly different angles that appear three-dimensional when viewed together.

Channel:
A path over which electrical signals can pass; "a channel is typically what you rent from a telephone company"

Track:
Path: a line or route along which something travels or moves

Frequency:
The ratio of the number of observations in a statistical category to the total number of observations

Hertz:
A measurement unit used to describe the frequency of sound.a unit of a frequency that cycles one time each second

Decibel:
A logarithmic unit of sound intensity; 10 times the logarithm of the ratio of the sound intensity to some reference intensity

Wav:
WAV (or WAVE), short for Waveform audio format, is a Microsoft and IBM audio file format standard for storing an audio bitstream on PCs.

mp3:
MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3, more commonly referred to as MP3, is a digital audio encoding format using a form of lossy data compression.

aiff:
Audio Interchange File Format (AIFF) is an audio file format standard used for storing sound data for personal computers and other electronics
